Anger
Anger Thermometer
Using a sheet of paper, I drew out a thermometer and made a few cuts in the paper. I then took a folded sheet of paper and slid it through, making a movable thermometer. This is one example of a thermometer that a student made- I let them describe how they feel at the different stages of anger and write in their own words what it feels like to them. As we check in, they move the thermometer up or down to show how they are feeling. As they are calming down, ask how they were able to move from a 10 to a 6. And also, what would it take to go from a 6 to a 5, or why do you say it's a 6 and not a 7?.
