Coffee Talk: Navigating the World of College and Financial Aid
Coffee Talks are a time for me to meet with a group of parents and discuss things that are important to them. My first coffee talk at the school was geared towards high school parents to help them prepare for their child's next step in life. College planning can be an overwhelming experience, and can easily become a daunting task if you don't know where to start.
For this presentation, I gave a quick overview of choosing a career, what to look for in a college, taking the SAT/ACT tests, applying to colleges, basics of financial aid, and how to apply to scholarships.

Coffee Talk: Transitioning to a New School
My school got the unfortunate news that we would no longer be operating after this school year. Through this coffee talk, I helped parents to understand that kids show anxiety in different ways than adults, and many times may not even realize that their anxiety is causing certain behavioral or physical issues.
